WORKING STUDENT - HARDWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (M/F/D)

Part-time, Dresden

Your Role:

  • You work in a team on the development of analog and digital circuits for signal processing. The circuits you help to develop are also intended for use in small satellites.
  • Your tasks will include, for example, helping to create circuit diagrams/layouts (KiCAD), electronic component research/simulation (LTspice, Matlab, Analog Devices Tools), building prototypes, and documenting the development processes.
  • You are interested in the commissioning, troubleshooting, and verification of hardware modules in the laboratory and on test benches.
  • If you gained already basic knowledge about FPGA development, the commissioning of prototypes and the development for your HDL modules for signal processing task can be part of your work

You will gain an insight into the development process of electronic components for satellite communication – from design and initial commissioning, development and release of prototypes to series production.

Your Profile:

  • You are studying in the field of electrical engineering or similar.
  • Initial experience in:
    • Circuit design and component analysis/selection
    • Testing and commissioning of printed circuit boards
    • Microcontroller programming
  • Good knowledge English and/or German.
